I was born in Nyamugina in MAKAMBA province. I live in KIRWATI 2. I am a single mother of 3 children. I have no job. I would like to share my testimony with you.
I gave birth when I was living with my family but then I was kicked out. I went to live with another man who is not the father of my child in RUMONGE. After a few years he died.
In this period of being a widow, I made the decision to be a sex seller so that I could have something to give to the children. The things that were supposed to be a profit were a loss in my life because afterwards I found that I was infected with HIV AIDS.
I was shocked to know this but expected it because of the sex work I was doing. I suffered several consequences, everyone was moving away from me saying that I have AIDS. My life was really very critical. By divine grace, I heard that there is an organization that comes to work with prostituted women.
I went to them and welcomed me, showed me what God wants from me and taught me good directions that I could take to change my life. Before, I only had prostitute friends but today I am free. Before doing anything, we start with prayer and other things come after.
They taught us about the community savings and loans project and it changed my financial situation. I had the small capital to start a small business selling salt.
My prayer request:
Pray for me that God will give me a bit high capital to sell other items. I want to know how to sew clothes so that I have a metier in life. This will help the 3 children I gave birth to pay for their school fees and materials.
